Cragg Vale is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty and enjoys panoramic views from the steep and wooded valley. From Old Cragg Hall Barn the bustling town of Hebden Bridge, "the 4th funkiest town in Europe", is approximately 3 miles and the Bronte village of Haworth and the National Trust Hardcastle Crags can be easily accessed too. For the outdoor enthusiast the Pennine Way and the Calderdale Way cross the valley, providing gentle strolling or energetic hiking.
